Tappers Presents: A Celebration of Women in Tap - Workshop Day

To celebrate International Women’s Day, we got together for a full day of tap with our women in tap workshop day, and it was fabulous!
Three workshops, three instructors, and a room full of people tapping for the fun of it. Exactly what we hoped for 💛
💃 Workshop 1 – Blythe-Lili Couldridge
We were so happy to welcome Blythe-Lili Couldridge to her first Tappers event and she did not disappoint.
We had so much fun oozing our way through this fabulous Chicago routine. It was the perfect start to our day of dance.
🎩 Workshop 2 – Zoe Davies
Next up was the wonderful Zoe Davies, who brought all the classic vibes.
We danced to Putting on the Ritz, complete with top hats and canes - which made everyone really feel the part. It was one of those routines where you just couldn’t help but smile while you were doing it.
🎼 Workshop 3 – Diane Hampstead
After lunch, the delightful Diane Hampstead took us through the final session of the day.
What started as playing around with shuffles and rhythms slowly built into a really groovy routine - the kind that just feels good to dance. A perfect way to round everything off and finish the day.

And of course, thank you to everyone who came along - it was so nice to share the day with all of you.
