A Celebration of Women in Tap
Celebrate International Women’s Day with a joyful and inspiring day of dance.

This one-day tap celebration is the perfect way to honour International Women’s Day – celebrating the creativity, strength and community of women in dance.
Across the day you’ll take part in three inspiring workshops, each led by a different female instructor bringing her own style, energy and experience to the floor. Together, the sessions are designed to uplift, challenge and inspire, offering a joyful and empowering journey through rhythm and connection.
The event runs from 10:00am to 3:00pm, with breaks built in and plenty of time to chat, connect and enjoy the day together. It’s open to adult tap dancers of all levels, and if you’re new to Tappers events, you’ll be warmly welcomed into the community.

10.00am to 11.15am
Blythe-Lili Couldridge
Blythe is a dancer and teacher trained at Performers College, with a strong background in tap, jazz, contemporary and musical theatre.

Her classes are known for being supportive and creating space for dancers to explore rhythm, style and confidence at their own pace.​​

11.30am to 12.45pm
Zoe Davies
Zoe is a highly experienced teacher who trained at The Centre of Performing Arts and has been teaching for over 30 years.

With a special love for MGM-era, old-school stage and screen tap, Zoe brings a timeless quality to her inclusive, welcoming and fun classes, creating a supportive space for adult dancers of all abilities.

Diane Hampstead
Diane is a tap legend with a glittering career that once saw her crowned Europe’s fastest tapper and the world’s best female solo tap dancer.
Known for her lightning fast feet, infectious energy and warm, encouraging teaching style, she brings her signature sparkle (and just a touch of bonkers) to every workshop.​
